When is the event?

Friday, October 18, 2024 beginning at 6:30pm and ending at 10:30pm.

What is the attire for the event?

The event is cocktail attire.

Is there parking?

Yes, complimentary valet parking is available onsite.

What is the rideshare drop off location?

Hotel West & Main Conshohocken Philadelphia, Tapestry by Hilton | Elm & Forrest Street is a drop-off location shared between Cencora and the hotel.

What is the schedule for the event?

The evening is filled with mingling, mission, and music. After a robust cocktail hour, we will host a short program followed by live entertainment.

Who is performing?

We are pleased to share that Devon Gilfillian, R&B singer-songwriter and Philadelphia native, will be providing the live entertainment during the event. Check out the Entertainment page for more information about the artist.

Will there be food and drink?

Yes, there will be heavy hors d’oeuvres and stations provided by 12th Street Catering. Please note that the heaviest food will be available during cocktail hour and there is no sit-down dinner.

How can I dedicate a Luminaria to honor a loved one?

We invite you to submit an individual’s name so that we may honor your loved one in a unique display at the event. Click here to complete registration.

Are credit cards accepted the night of the event for donations?

Yes, all major credit cards are accepted (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) as well as cash and check. You can donate online here.

I can’t attend, is there still a way to support the event?

Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?

Yes, all donations made during the event are processed through GiveSmart, an online giving platform, which will automatically send you a tax receipt once your card is charged after the event.

How will my donation be used?

All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society AstraZeneca Hope Lodge in Philadelphia.

Hope Lodge provides a free home away from home for cancer patients and their caregivers. More than just a roof over their heads, it’s a nurturing community that helps patients access the care they need. Each Hope Lodge community offers a supportive, homelike environment where guests can share a meal, join in the evening’s activities, or unwind in their own private room. Proceeds from this year’s Advancing the Breakthrough event directly support the AstraZeneca Hope Lodge in Philadelphia, PA.

The Philadelphia Hope Lodge offers 37 guest rooms located near treatment centers in the area. In 2023, the Lodge served 1,226 guests, provided 15,699 nights of lodging, and saved patients and their families $1.7M+ in lodging costs. The American Cancer Society and CEOs Against Cancer are committed to supporting the Philadelphia Hope Lodge and serving patients and their families in the Philadelphia area.
